Atlanta rap group Takeoff is reportedly shot and killed at age 28.

Takeoff, a popular US rapper from the group Migos, was shot and killed in Houston, Texas, 

The rapper was murdered on Tuesday while playing dice with his uncle and bandmate Quavo at a bowling alley.

Around 2:30 a.m. local time, according to Houston police, they were called to the scene of a gunshot at a bowling and pool club in downtown Houston. One person was discovered dead, the department tweeted.

According to officials, two further patients were driven to hospitals in private automobiles.

The number of guests at the private party, according to the police, was between 40 and 50. Although they heard the bullets, the nearby security officers were unable to identify the shooter.

Officers reported finding a sizable throng and a man in his twenties suffering from a head or neck injuries when they arrived. At the scene, he was identified as deceased.

Police were told that a private party had been held at the location just before the incident, according to the authorities. A probe is still being conducted.

One of the most well-known groups of their time, Migos invented the "Migos flow," a choppy, staccato triplet rapping technique.
